Rules & Regulation

  • The academic year is from April to March.
  • Each student is given a calendar listing all scholastic and co-scholastic activities, break/vacations. Parents are requested to follow the same strictly.
  • Parents are requested to go through all rules and regulations of School in details and sign in a declaration page accordingly.
  • Every student must carry his/her almanac and ID card everyday to school.
  • It is mandatory to have minimum 75% attendance for appearing in the final examination as per CBSE norm.
  • Attendance on first and last working days before and after break/vacation is mandatory for all. A fine of Rs 500/- will be levied on being absent on these days.
  • No half day leave will be granted except in case of emergency at / upon the discretion of Principal.
  • Students must report at 7:30 am (Class V to XII), 9:00 am (Class Nursery to IV) everyday in school. Late comers for two days in a month will be sent back to home.
  • All are expected to speak in English in School and whenever going out for inter school event, picnics / outing etc.
  • Every student is expected to come in prescribed uniform as mentioned in school uniform code.
  • Hair cut / hair style must conform to school’s norms.
  • Parents must follow procedures / visiting hours to meet school officials and teachers. In case of emergency, the request to be made in writing to the Principal.
  • Students are encouraged to inculcate clean and healthy habits all the time. Tearing of pages, spilling water, littering, wasting food, chewing gum is strongly discouraged.
  • Bullying and ragging, use of slangs and abusive words is strictly forbidden in School.
  • For any damage to School property, either replacement to be made or fine to be paid.
  • During the absence of teacher, it is essential the students heed to the supervising prefect or monitor.
  • While every care will be taken to prevent accident, the school will not be liable for injuries sustained by pupil in the course of everyday activities of the School including those of journey expeditions,S.U.P.W, travel, outward bound activities or any activity that the School authorities prescribe for the pupils.
  • Promotion to the next class is made on the basis of the child’s performance in tests and term examination. Promotion is granted only when a student has shown ability to cope with the next step in his/her education.
  • Students will be responsible for the safe custody of their books and belongings
  • The authorities will observe care and caution of the safety about health of children but in unavoidable circumstances like accidents and diseases, the school will not be held responsible.
  • Parents are requested to co-operate in the work of the school by enforcing discipline and evincing interest in their children. They are to extent fullest encouragement to participation in school activities.
  • Parents are specially requested to give some time to their wards in studies either personally or by keeping tutors during vacations so that they can keep the spirit of the study burning.

Examination Rules

  1. The school follows CBSE board prescribed examination system.
  2. It is mandatory to maintain minimum 75% attendance for appearing in final examination as per CBSE norm.
  3. Students must attend all examinations conducted during an academic session for promotion.
  4. Clearance of all dues up to the month of examination is a prerequisite for appearing in an examination.
  5. Students must have admit card for entering into examination hall.
  6. Students must enter an examination room at least 15 minutes before the examination is due to start. No one will be allowed to enter examination room after the start of an examination. Students must not leave an exam hall before the end.
  7. Students must not possess any unauthorized materials including books; manuscripts; calculator; mobile phones; eatables etc. in the examination room. Only drinking water bottle is permitted.
  8. Every student must have his\ her own pencil; pen; ruler; eraser; sharpener and permitted geometrical instruments. Examination Rules (NPRS)
  9. Decision of the school with regards to promotion will be binding on all.medical reason supported by proper document submitted within 2 days. The re-examination fee will be changed at the rate of Rs. 150/-per paper.
  10. Malpractice in any form will result in cancellation of paper.
  11. There is no provision of re-examination except(only for Half Yearly and Annual Examination) for cases of serious
  12. Students must secure minimum 33% marks both each subject as well as aggregate, for promotion. It is mandatory for students to pass in both theory as well as practical paper in plus 2 for promotion.
  13. Decision of the school with regards to promotion will be binding on all.

Transport Rules

  • All the parents who required school bus service for their ward/wards shall apply in a prescribed form available at school.
  • The application form should be completed and submitted by the parents along with necessary payment before starting of the academic session.
  • Once the application form accepted parents are required to make payment of fees based on the fee structure applicable in the particular route within given date. If failed Rs. 10/- per day will be levied.
  • All buses have designated pick up and drop off points and it is the responsibillity of the parents to ensure the child is at the pickup point at designated time.
  • It is mandetory that the authorised person with proper ID card is present to collect the students of junior classes.
  • Transport fee is applicable and charged for 12 months of an academic year.
  • Transport facility once availed will not be withdrawn during the academic session. No fee refund will be made in case of discontinuation of bus service by parents.
  • For safty reasons, eating and drinking on the bus, other than water is not permitted. The students are strictly prohibited from changing seats, moving around and standing in running bus.
  • School bus service will be responsible for only picking and dropping student at the designed points.
  • Bus pass is mandatory for availling School Transport Service.

Boarding Rules

  • It is Compulsory for all boarders to report at the beginning of session with all the belongings mentioned in the kit list.
  • Local purchase may be arranged by the hostel supperintendent for item(s) considered essential and the cost will have to borne by the parents / guardian.
  • Students must not remove any electric fittings, lights, bulbs, fans etc. from the school and hostel building and classrooms. Damages to school property, furniture etc. and loss of library books to be made good by the students/parents.
  • Boarders are expcted to keep their rooms neat, clean and tidy and should not disfigure wall, doors and windows.
  • Use of room heater, radio, walkman, mobile phone and other such appliances are prohibited. All such items will be seized by the Warden/Principal.
  • Boarders shall take all meals in the common dining hall and should be properly dressed at meal time. Mess utensils are not allowed to be taken out of the dining hall.
  • Formation of societies or association and holding of meetings other than routine meetings organized by the school authorities are not allowed.
  • School will make children talk to their parents in the registered numbers submitted at the time of admission on Saturday (CL: UKG to VI, Time: 2:30pm to 5:00pm) and Sunday(CL: VII to XII, Time: 11:00am to 1:30pm). Considering the concern of every child may be allotted, time duration of 5-6 minutes to talk to their parents. Parents are requested to cooperate.
  • Students will be not allowed to go home on vacation or leave unescorted unless authorized in written by the parents in due time with a valid reason.
  • Parents will meet their ward/wards or take them for outing only on last Sunday of every month within 10 am to 4 pm. No other visitors are allowed to meet the students unless accompanied by parents. Parents are requested to come with their ID card which they have to show to the school authoritiy while visiting their ward/wards.
  • No Snacks/tucks and fast food items are allowed in the school premises for safty reasons.
  • It is mandatory for all the boarders to wear their school uniform when coming and leaving the school campus.
  • Boarders are required to report back after each vacation / break on the day and at the time mentioned (10am to 4pm). Attendance on the reporting day is mandatory for all the students.
  • A fine of Rs. 500/- per day will be levied for unauthorized absence as per hostel rule.
  • Special leave may be granted for maximum of five days only once in the session. Such leave cannot be availed in continuation with any break/vacation.
  • Visitors are not permitted to meet the boarders without meeting the warden and obtain his permission.
  • Medical leave must be supported by doctor’s presctiption, medical bills and doctor’s fitness certificate.
  • Prescribed set of school uniform except winter uniform, hostel uniform and bed sheets, pillow covers to be changed every session.
  • The hostel fee covers boarding and lodging, laundry, mending, bedding (except linen, blanket and quites) hair cutting and games facilities. All other expences will be charged.
