An active engagement of students in sports and extra-cocurricular activities is as important as textbook learning. In fact, sports is a bridge through which many of our students have scaled the summit of success that’s why at North Point Residential School, we have featured numerous indoor and outdoor games for students to actively participate and learn the values of the spirit of sportsmanship.
We sincerely believe sport is a model for instilling collectivism, competitiveness, and communication therefore we have a standard basketball court, volleyball court, outdoor badminton court, football field, and cricket field for students to come and express themselves through the language of sports.
The indoor games envelop table tennis, chess, carrom, and miscellaneous games beside that the cores of athletics include javelin, shotput, running, and discus to give students an overall experience associating their act with an arcade of sports.
A team of physical education teachers are professionals and incorporates the routine exercise of sports, yoga, and meditation to keep our students physically immune and intellectually sharp. The inter-house sports event, annual sports event, and inter-school sports event are a series of episodes opening the opportunity for students to lead and represent.
The greatest attribute of the school toward child development is not only associated with handbook exercises but a balanced inclination with respect to art, culture, dance, and music is equally important to build a strong character.
At North Point Residential School, the amalgamation of art and craft, culture, dance, and music is such that every child seems to develop an interest in living their dreams either through strokes of paintbrush and crayons, or through musical instruments, skits, and dance.
The professional music and dance teacher along with the art and craft teacher spend their time investing in the interest of the child but before that talent is identified and encouraged to partake in musical, dance, or cultural sessions conducted by the school. They are given ample opportunity to express themselves through the medium of art and culture.
Episodes of Inter-house singing, dancing, skits, painting, elocution, choir, recitations, etc are conducted on the premises of the school regularly to endorse a spirit of participation among students.
In short, at North Point Residential School, a child is given every opportunity or platform to prove their mettle bringing out a complete development from inside and outside.
