North Point Residential School, Siliguri and its recent association with Lion’s Club Siliguri has been one of the major developments to unfold in the year 2023 but what’s more fascinating to learn is NPRS, Siliguri is now officially the pilot member of the Leo Club Siliguri Eklavya, a brainchild of Lions Club International to provide a platform for students to involve in welfare activities.
The official installation and induction ceremony was organised in a multipurpose hall of the North Point Residential School Siliguri wherein the District Governor of Lions Club Siliguri, Vice District Governor 1 of Lions Club Siliguri, GAT Vice Coordinator, Installation officer, Heads of the schools and other dignitaries were present.
The installation officer in the kind presence of respected dignitaries administered the oath-taking ceremony of the Leo Club members. The allocation of portfolios was done unanimously and the job roles were read out open to ensure each member understood the functionality of the Leo Club.
